Have you ever wanted to start “slow living”? Do you believe being a single mom is holding you back from a slow living lifestyle? Let me inspire you. Welcome to Modern Fairytale Mom! This is a space where I share my thoughts, style, recommended products and personal experiences with self care, timeless fashion, artistry, homemaking and slow-living motherhood. Here, we celebrate the beauty of a thoughtfully curated life. The best way to start is to embrace your sense of creativity, femininity, and being present.
Why I Created This Blog
I’ve always been drawn to the idea of living a luxurious life. Not in a way that feels forced or extravagant. Even though I love the glitz and glam, but I also honor the simple pleasures of life.
As a young girl, I was captivated by classic Walt Disney animated films. I immersed myself in their worlds and truly believed I could live like a princess. But in this modern reality, life isn’t always as ideal as the fairytales we grew up with. However, that doesn’t mean I’ll stop believing in my own happily ever after—and neither should you.
Through this blog, I hope to inspire you to:
- Romanticize your daily life and embrace a soft, luxurious lifestyle.
- Pursue creativity and entrepreneurship while staying in your feminine energy.
- Build an elegant, inspiring home and family that reflects your values.
What You’ll Find Here
This blog is a reflection of my journey in designing a business that is as beautiful as it is profitable. As a single mother who co-parents while creating a meaningful life for my daughter. I want to be present for her, cherish each stage of her growth, and cultivate a home filled with love.
Motherhood is one of the most important roles in the world. It deserves to be valued as just enough, especially in my community. Simply wanting to be a mom is completely valid. Staying home with your children is still achievable—even as a single mother. Build your village.
I also believe that education starts at home, from the earliest years. With time and intention, homeschooling for however long, can be a beautiful option. I’ll be sharing my experience raising my daughter with love, creativity, and a fun, engaging approach to learning.
Beyond motherhood, I’ll also share how to cultivate beauty in everyday moments—from home décor to self-care, fine art, gardening, to a curated wardrobe. My passion is creating a life of luxury, no matter how big or small the details may seem. I will encourage you to embrace the body God has given you and continue to learn ways to enhance and maintain its natural beauty.
Here are three inspiring ways to start:

1. Create Meaningful Routines, Not Rigid Schedules
Instead of packing your day with endless to-do lists, focus on creating gentle, nourishing routines that bring peace and consistency.
• Morning Rituals – Start your day with a calming routine like making tea, reading a devotional, or enjoying quiet time before the day begins.
• Evening Wind-Down – Light candles, play soft music, and make bedtime feel special with stories or gentle stretches.
• Intentional Moments – Instead of rushing, slow down and savor small joys like cooking together, watching the sunset, or simply being present.
How This Helps: It reduces stress and creates a predictable rhythm that feels grounded and peaceful for both you and your child.

2. Simplify Your Home & Lifestyle
A clutter-free space makes for a clutter-free mind. Slow living is about choosing quality over quantity and surrounding yourself with things that bring joy and ease.
• Declutter with Purpose – Keep only what you truly love and use. Donate what no longer serves you.
• Curate a Cozy Space – Soft lighting, comfy textures, and natural elements like fresh flowers make your home feel like a sanctuary.
• Mindful Shopping – Shift from impulse buying to thoughtfully investing in things that align with your values and long-term happiness.
How This Helps: A simple, well-curated environment reduces overwhelm, making your home a place of calm, inspiration, and beauty.

3. Embrace Slower, More Present Parenting
Instead of feeling the pressure to “do it all,” focus on being present and enjoying the season of motherhood you’re in.
• Put the Phone Down – Set screen-free hours to fully engage with your child.
• Romanticize the Ordinary – Turn everyday tasks into special moments (e.g., play music while cooking, have tea parties, make bedtime magical).
• Choose Quality Time Over Quantity – Even small moments, like brushing their hair gently or taking a walk together, build deep connections.
How This Helps: Slowing down helps you feel more connected, less rushed, and truly present in your child’s life.
